The position:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and service-oriented Pro Shop Associate / Shift Lead to assist in the day-to-day operations of our Pro Shop while supervising seasonal staff. This position plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests. Reporting to the Pro Shop Supervisor/Manager, you will be responsible for customer service, staff coordination, inventory management, event support, and food & beverage service. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing:
- Pro Shop Operations & Customer Service: Greet customers, assist with transactions, check in golfers, and handle inquiries professionally.
- Staff Supervision & Coordination: Oversee seasonal staff, ensure smooth beverage cart, Snack Shack, patio, and Pro Shop shifts, and assist with scheduling.
- Inventory Management & Ordering Support: Receive weekly food and beverage orders, stock inventory, and manage merchandise transactions.
- Event Support & Golf Course Management: Assist in coordinating tournaments, league nights, and corporate outings while managing event logistics.
- Food & Beverage Service: Prepare and serve café-style food and beverages while maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards.
- Financial & Administrative Support: Open and close the Pro Shop, handle daily cash-outs, process deposits, and assist with administrative tasks.
What you need to be successful:
- ProServe certification (Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis – AGLC)
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License
- Experience with food prep and service
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong customer service, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Microsoft 365 experience preferred
Availability:
- Seasonal full-time and part-time roles available (April to mid-October)
- Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and long weekends based on business needs
- Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Compensation:
Competitive wages based on experience.
