The Position:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and hardworking Pro Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of our Pro Shop and related facilities. Reporting to the Pro Shop Supervisor and Pro Shop Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our golf carts, inventory, and facilities are well-maintained while assisting with food preparation and stocking to enhance the guest experience.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Golf Cart Maintenance: Thoroughly clean, inspect, and maintain golf carts to ensure a pristine and operational fleet.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct weekly counts of club and disc rentals, ensuring accurate records and reporting discrepancies.
  • Food & Beverage Assistance: Receive and organize food and beverage deliveries, maintain stock levels, and assist with preparation for daily operations and special events.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure Pro Shop, cart barn, and course washrooms remain clean, sanitized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Guest Experience Support: Assist customers by maintaining a well-organized, welcoming Pro Shop environment.

What you need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in a support or maintenance role is an asset, but training will be provided.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Availability:

  • Seasonal employment from April to mid-October.
  • Shifts may include evenings, weekends, and long weekends based on business needs.
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors and performing physical tasks.

Compensation:

  • Competitive wage based on experience.
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
