The position:

We are looking for an attentive and customer-focused Course Marshal to ensure smooth and safe play on our golf course. Reporting to the Pro Shop Supervisor and Pro Shop Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring course conditions, managing the pace of play, and assisting golfers with information and direction.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Course Monitoring & Pace of Play: Patrol the course to maintain a steady pace of play and enforce course rules and etiquette.
  • Customer Service & Assistance: Greet and assist golfers, provide directions, and resolve on-course concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Safety & Incident Management: Conduct regular course inspections, report maintenance needs, and assist in managing emergencies as required.
  • Coordination & Communication: Serve as a liaison between golfers and course operations, providing updates on conditions and scheduling changes.
  • Administrative Support: Maintain logs of on-course incidents, guest interactions, and maintenance issues, and assist with documentation as needed.

What you need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or a background in customer service is beneficial.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and effective time management.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in managing conflicts or challenging situations.
  • Basic computer skills for logging incidents and routine reporting are preferred.

Availability:


Part-time and full-time positions available with flexibility required during peak season (April to October). Shifts may include early mornings, weekends, and occasional evenings based on business needs.

Compensation:


Competitive wage based on experience.

You must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
