The Position:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Bartender, you will craft and serve beverages, maintain a clean and organized bar area, and engage with guests to ensure an unforgettable experience. You will also work closely with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure efficient service during both regular hours and special events.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Guest Service & Beverage Creation: Welcome guests, take drink orders, and prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to resort standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Bar Area Maintenance & Operations: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked, including cleaning glassware and bar equipment regularly. Monitor inventory levels and report shortages to the Chef or Sous Chef.
Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to alcohol service regulations, check guests’ IDs, and ensure beverages are served responsibly and in line with resort standards. Follow all health and safety protocols for food handling and sanitation.
Payment Processing & Administrative Support: Use the POS system to process orders and payments, handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, and ensure proper closing procedures are followed.
Team Support & Event Assistance: Collaborate with FOH and BOH staff to provide seamless service during busy periods and special events. Assist in setting up and breaking down event bar stations.
Guest Issue Resolution & Communication: Address guest concerns in a professional manner and escalate issues to management when needed. Communicate effectively with the team to ensure a smooth guest experience.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
Previous bartending or serving experience in a high-volume environment is an asset.
Knowledge of cocktail recipes, wine, and spirits is essential.
ProServe certification required.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Reliable transportation to and from the resort.
Availability:
Seasonal full-time position from April to mid-October. Must be available for evening and weekend shifts, particularly during peak resort events.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
