Main Pool MaintenanceTo all Lot OwnersI hope this message finds you well.As you may know, the main outdoor pool has required some much-needed maintenance. Now that the snow has melted (well maybe not after today), we will be kicking off a project to replace the tiles on the upper level of the main outdoor pool scheduled to start in early May. After meeting with our general contractor, they have informed us that the tile company will not be able to start replacing the necessary tiles until after June 1st.Given the current delay, our best estimate is that the main outdoor pool will be operational closer to the end of June. We understand that this puts us under considerable pressure to expedite the opening of the west pool, and we are working diligently to ensure it is up and running as soon as possible.While we are disappointed by this setback, we believe the wait will be worth it. Staff AnnouncementI am thrilled to announce the arrival of our new Chef, Ralph Uy Tina, who will be joining us on April 4th. Ralph brings nearly 20 years of culinary expertise and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.Ralph was born in Cotabato City, Philippines, and moved to Canada with his family at the age of 10. He has since made Red Deer, Alberta, his home. Inspired by his late father, who was also a chef, Ralph pursued his culinary dreams and completed an apprenticeship under the renowned Chef James Olberg. His career has seen him excel in various roles, including Chef De Partie at the Sheraton Hotel and Executive Chef at Pomeroy Inn & Suites in Olds, where he earned the "Employee of the Year" and "Food and Beverage Team Member of the Year" awards.At Gleniffer Lake Resort, Ralph will be working closely with Greg Switner our food and Beverage Manager and leading our culinary team, designing innovative menus, reducing food waste, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and guest satisfaction. His dedication to excellence and creativity will undoubtedly enhance our resort's dining experience.Ralph is also a devoted family man. He has been happily married to his wife, Sheikha, for nearly seven years, and they are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Sevvi (2 years old) and Rayyan (1 year old). Ralph's family is his greatest source of inspiration and joy. They will be residing on the lower floor of the manager's residence.Please join me in welcoming Ralph and his family to our community.
